A CAN Phantom immobiliser is a hidden, secondary immobiliser that connects directly to your vehicle's CAN bus — the electronic communication network that controls your vehicle's systems. Once fitted, your vehicle will not start unless a hidden PIN code is entered via an inconspicuous button or touchpad inside the car.
This means that even if a thief uses a relay device to clone your key fob signal and gains entry to your vehicle, they cannot drive it away. The factory immobiliser is bypassed by relay theft. The Phantom is not. It is completely independent and completely hidden — there is no external evidence it is fitted and it leaves no trace that would deter a thief from attempting entry, meaning the device does its job without advertising itself.
